Airport and Hotel Information

In terms of travel arrangements and accommodations, the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport (LBB) is fifteen minutes from the campus area and the 2019 NCPP Host Hotels.

The LBB airport is a regional hub for Southwest Airlines flying directly to and from Austin, Dallas-Love Field, Las Vegas, and Denver many times daily as well as includes several flights a day from Denver and Houston-George Bush Intercontinental on United Airlines and Dallas-DFW and Phoenix on American Airlines.

Our 2019 NCPP Host Hotels are across the street (within walking distance) from the Texas Tech University (TTU) campus and the TTU School of Music located at 2624 18th Street with parking available on Sunday, May 19, 2019 for FREE. Monday (5-20-19) and Tuesday (5-21-19) parking is available for the hourly rate of $1.50 or daily rate of $9.00 (7:30 am to 8:00 pm). We will do a pickup from Staybridge Suites on Monday and Tuesday at 7:45 am to campus and back again on Monday evening and Tuesday after lunch.
